‘Put the clothes back on!': Choreographer Debbie Allen upset with Miley Cyrus

We can only imagine the look on Debbie Allen’s face as she watched Miley Cyrus’ VMA twerk-out. It’s probably safe to assume she wasn’t smiling:

Ouch! Allen continued:

We can agree that Cyrus’ performance was less than ladylike, but is Beyoncé really the one young women should look to for inspiration?

People’s Hillary Clinton Cover Sparks Health Talk Because of Course It Does

Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton answers a question at the 2014 National Council for Behavioral Health Conference at Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center at National Harbor, Md., Tuesday, May 6, 2014.

Hillary Clinton is on the cover of this week’s People magazine with a bright smile and one her strongest comments yet that she is indeed preparing to run for president.

The focus for many on Wednesday, however, was a detail toward the bottom of the picture of the former U.S. secretary of state.

Image: People Magazine

Keen-eyed observers have noted that the way the picture has been cropped left Clinton looking a little like she was leaning on a walker. Her hands, in reality, were on a chair, the magazine told [0].

Twitter quickly lit up with jokes about the picture. Clinton’s age and health have been topics of debate as she has moved to the head of the pack for the Democratic nomination for the presidency.

It was enough for conservative news site Drudge Report to pull out its siren.

The National Journal bluntly asked in February “Is Hillary Clinton Too Old to Run?” The Journal noted that she would be the second oldest president to take office, although the piece also reasoned that she is not too old. The Upshot found that voter preference on age tended to swing with partisanship.

In the interview, Clinton said “we need to break that highest, hardest glass ceiling,” which one could reasonably translate to mean the presidency. Clinton also spoke about the scandal involving husband and former president Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky, saying she has “moved on.”

Twitter did what Twitter does best with the situation surrounding the picture: photoshop.

Security In Hazmat Suits Escort Man Off Airplane After He Made Ebola Joke

Security In Hazmat Suits Escort Man Off Airplane After He Made Ebola Joke

This is a scene that looks like it’s from a dystopian Hollywood film. But terrifyingly, this is real life! Apparently, an African-American man sneezed on US Airways Flight 850 from Philadelphia to Punta Cana, and joked afterwards that maybe he was infected with Ebola. The flight attendants didn’t take any chances and called for backup.

After they landed, a security team in full hazmat suits escorted the man off the plane. Finally, after two hours, they realized it was all a joke and the rest of the passengers were allowed off the flight.

Patrick Narvaez was one of the many passengers who recorded the incident, and now this clip has instantly gone viral!

The Best And Worst Ads Of The Second Quarter

1. 2nd Quarter — BEST: Cars.com

Only because: baybee wolfie.

2. 2nd Quarter — WORST: Volkswagen

Not because it is racist, or “black face with voices” as the esteemed New York Times columnist Charles Blow (not Stuart Elliott) called it. No. It’s the worst because it’s yet another in a long line of commercials that presents the modern day office environment as just a step or two above that of 1984. So fucking depressing.

Also, it doesn’t sell the VW Beetle a lick.
